A game prepared with some difficulties as well for lack of Central backs available.
Sebastian and Garret they made a amazing game with effort and commitment even playing outside of their positions.
We controlled well the game, defensively we were solid and we played in middle block and not in high pressing, like usual. We had a couple of good situations to score a goal, by Dani, Alvaro and another one with Nico inside of area couldn’t finish in the best way.
Second half we changed the way of pressing, closed the center of the field and they only played long balls. We blocked well the space where they wanted to play and we forced them to create more about long balls but all without any danger.
We scored by corner, for Sebastian, and we were the best team until the moment. After 5 minutes with first ball jumping in our area and with couple of bad luck in ball bounces they scored a 1-1.
With lack of players to refresh the team we tried until the end to be consistent and organized until the end but one corner against us in the last minute dictate the 1-2 for them, in a very unlucky way and totally undeserved.
Really happy with players effort and attitude. They gave the best but we are not in the best lucky time of the season. The important thing it’s the great improvement in our competitive attitude and effort. After the storm comes the calm and we are sure the sun will bright again very soon.
