The first Match of the Year 2025.
Was a week that we didn’t had much time to train and work with the players. With only one training to work tactically and strategy, we went to the game with confidence with all the work that we are doing since August.
Our first half was outstanding. We controlled all the moments of the game, with a great, beautiful and very attractive football.
We scored the first goal by Jordan by consequence of our great team work we were doing. The opponent the first mistakes we committed in the back line they scored a goal and they scored a very unfair goal and equal result.
Second half, we were not the same team, mentally we were disconnected from the game, even we were trying to reach to zone 3 with more pragmatism, we used Jay, Remi well open wide, and 2 strikers, Dani and Akiles, and try to penetrate in the last third.
The opponent always did everything to waste time, and break a lot the rhythm of the game and with one ball lost in our defensive line, one our mistake in the end and they scored the second goal and we lost 1-2 in a very very unfair result.
With that we need to learn how to manage games like that and be consistent about what we did in the outstanding first half.
We will keep working to be better and bring the players to better levels of consistency.
