Jaume was trained in the youth ranks of Valencia CF, eventually reaching Valencia C. F. Mestalla. He was an undisputed starter for the team, playing a decisive role in the promotion to Segunda División B in the 2007-08 season, where the team achieved second place in the Tercera División.

In the 2010-11 season, he terminated his contract with Valencia CF and moved freely to Villarreal CF, where he played for the reserve team in the second division.

After a couple of seasons with the reserve team, in the summer of 2012, he was promoted to the first team, with which he achieved promotion to La Liga. As the seasons went by, he became one of the team’s key players, a favorite among fans, and captain of the Yellow Submarine.

In August 2019, he returned to Valencia CF, nine years later, after reaching an agreement with Villarreal for his loan for a season.

In 2021, he won the Europa League, and since 2021, he has been a player for RCD Mallorca.
